How I Work

Some brands need a voice. Some need a strategist to build a content system around one. Some need an editor who can take what they have (rough draft, AI output, half-finished idea) and turn it into something that earns a reader's attention.

I do all of it. Individually or together, depending on what you actually need.

01 Listen and interpret

Every project starts with what you bring: rough notes, scattered ideas, a half-formed brief, or sometimes just a feeling about what your brand should sound like. My job at this stage isn't to start writing. It's to hear what you’re really saying, identify what's missing, and translate it into something a content strategy can be built on.

02 Build your foundation

Before anything is written, your brand needs a clear voice. That means defining your tone, positioning, audience, and the guardrails that keep every piece of content consistent. This foundation isn’t decorative. It’s the infrastructure everything else runs on.

03 Define your strategy

What should your first piece say, and why? What does your next quarter look like? How does each piece connect to the ones before and after it? These are strategic decisions, and I make them with rationale tied directly to your brand, your audience, and your goal.

04 Write and edit your content

From scratch or from a draft you already have, AI-assisted or fully original, I produce content that sounds like a real person wrote it on purpose. For your brand, in your voice, every time.

05 Think beyond the deliverable

The goal isn't a single good piece. It's a brand that knows what it sounds like and content that reflects that consistently over time. Everything I build is designed with your longer view in mind.

Every service, available on its own

Not every project needs all five steps. Some clients come with a brief already written and need someone to execute. Some have AI drafts that just need a voice. Some need a single article, a one-time edit, or a content calendar and nothing else.

Whatever you need, that's where we start.

  • Building the foundational infrastructure, audience positioning, and brand voice guidelines required to ensure every piece of content serves a distinct business purpose.

  • Crafting high-quality, fully original content from scratch that aligns perfectly with your established brand voice and captures your reader's attention.

  • Polishing existing rough drafts, scattered notes, or half-finished ideas to improve flow, clarity, and overall impact.

  • Transforming rigid, robotic AI-generated output into natural, engaging prose that sounds like a real person wrote it on purpose.

  • Designing long-term content calendars and strategic roadmaps to ensure your brand's messaging remains consistent and connected quarter over quarter.

If you know what you need, let’s get to it. Don’t know yet? That’s a fine place to start too.
